Can Ubuntu or Linux do this in a simple way?

Hi everyone, I am really liking the open source side and Ubuntu but I haven't been able to switch because I haven't found a solution to the following:

    1) I use Live Mesh to sync files and folders across my 3 PCs and internet storage in real time.
    2) I use Windows Live Mail / Mobile to sync contacts and calendar across my PCs, pda phone, and Hotmail over the internet.

Is there a simple way this can be done through open source and Ubuntu or another linux distribution?

It seems you're asking how Microsoft technologies will work on non-Microsoft operating systems. I'm not aware of any way for Live Mesh to work on Linux, nor Windows Live Mail. Microsoft wants to lock you in to their services, which is what it appears they have done quite well. You may be able to run some of the features, but it will never work as well as it does on Windows.

Well, actually I was wondering if there was a linux alternative to that. Instead of Windows Vista/7 + Windows Mobile 6.x + Live Mesh = ubiquity, is there a Ubuntu 9.4 + Andriod Mobile OS + X = ubiquity?

Admittedly I never used it, I was just looking for something that might be helpful for the OP. I did search around a bit, and didn't find to much for glide OS.
I did find some sort of interview Here
It's 15 minutes long, so I didn't finish it, but it might have some helpful information in it.
