Hi, in firefox my fonts on the toolbar (File Edit etc) are black and i'm using a black theme. Is there anyway to change them to white? Also, I need to update the Alsa drivers to a beta version 1.14rc2 I believe. Thats the version that works with my sound. Can anyone help me do this. I need very specific step by step (Like go into the home directory) Thanks. As you can see i'm a linux noobI'm using Feisty btw.
EDIT: Got the sound working. Now I just need to get the font so it's readable.

are all the other fonts working correctly?
you might try downloading the Neutronium theme, which has some documentation included for how to fix dark font issues, maybe it will apply to your situation
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Neutronium?content=46153
(read the Info: section) -
If the menubar/toolbar is the only thing that concerns you give this a try:
1) In firefox type in about:config
2) Right-click anywhere on the page and choose new-->string
3) Enter ui.menutext for the name
4) Enter your preferred color in HTML format (ex. white would be #ffffff)
5) Restart firefox
Note: This will also change the color of your menu items, so hopefully those remain readable depending on what theme you're using.
As BigV mentioned, Neutronium is a very popular and polished dark theme with all the necessary patches included for various things. There are a few variations on the Neutronium theme such as Neutronium Gilouche ( http://gnomelook.org/content/show.php/Neutronium+Gilouche?content=57176) if the original one doesn't fit your tastes for some reason (It's very mac-ish). You should be able to find them all on gnome-look.org. -
