    Cant get ubuntu wireless to work

    Hey I installed ubuntu onto my gateway m1617and i ran into a problem. I been searching the forums and I still cants seem to get my wireless card to work. I have it on dual boot with windows vista and my wireless card on vista is "marvell TOPDOG (TM) PCI-Express802.11n Wireless (EC85)". Can someone try and help me.

    For most of wireless cards that don't work out of box you may use ndiswrapper. It's pretty simple to use. You just need a WinXP driver for your card and use ndiswrapper to emulate it on ubuntu.
