    Does anyone know how to charge the laptop battery to only 80% in Linux (specifically, OpenSUSE)?

    There is an option in Windows, but none in Linux. Also, there is not option in BIOS.

    This is an EC specific function, what kind of laptop are you talking about?

    Not going to happen unless you write your own driver. There is no existing support for proprietary fujitsu embedded controller functions.

    That's what I was afraid of. Let's hope the default drivers and functionality is decent.

    Anyone have any experience using Linux on Fujitsu machines?
