This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Where I live there is a small company called AVELL that buys pieces of hardware and makes custom laptops. Mine is one of them, ao model won't do any good... I could go there and ask them what is the brand of the keyboard, but I thought that it would be listed in lsusb or something similar, and is just so rare wanting to find your keyboard manufacturer that I didn't find anyone asking the same question (most people either have a generic keyboard, or know very well the brand).

    In case anyone can recognize the keyboard by a picture, this is not my model, but the keyboard is the same http://avell.com.br/notebooks/titanium-w1540-pro-cg
