I've been reading Anti aliasing works with compiz, but I can't seem to get any results. I get jaggies when I use the cube. I forced app settings to full AA with no result. If I could remove the jagged edges, this would be the most beautiful desktop ever. Period.

Did all that. Notice my post says I forced AA already. Maybe 3D windows and my theme can't do it. Or something...

I am not much help in this area, but you might want to check whether your driver can handle anti-aliasing. Linux video drivers are rather hit-or-miss when it comes to advanced graphical effects. Your xorg.conf file should shed light on what driver you're using.

    sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Do other 3D apps use AA properly? How did you force the AA on? If it wasn't done right, the setting can be ignored.

Done right? I went to the nvidia xserver and selected override settings and pushed up AA a bit.
