Just one simple question for those who have tried or at least have any ideas...
Will a 8400GS card be enough to do compiz (2GB system RAM and 2.2 core 2 duo) without having any trouble?
I mean, from light effects to heavy effects.... from 1 to 10, will it be able to play, say, at least 7-8 score??
Or will it be slow?
Thanks. BTW i'm noob on these stuff.

Yes, it will definitely run it very well. Both Beryl and Compiz Fusion have surprisingly low hardware requirements, and as long as you have Nvidia graphics, compatibility shouldn't be an issue. Read these threads from the Ubuntu forums:

Compiz runs fine of 5 year old integrated hardware, including Intel Extreme 2 graphics. You won't have a problem.
