Since I use uTorrent and Frostwire quite a bit, I decided to install the GUI interface for managing Ubuntu's iptables. However I ran into a small problem during the configuration wizard when I first started it up.
When asked what was my "Internet connected device" and my "local network connected device" I was not sure since I have three different devices: eth0, ath0, and wifi0. Each device is sending and receiving so I don't know how to configure the firewall. I have already checked Firestarter's documentation and looked around with Google, but to no avail. Can anyone clarify this? My laptop uses an Atheros card to wirelessly connect to a router in my house, which is in turn connected to a DSL modem.

Because your using the atheros chipset you shoud use ath0. eth0 is your wired ethernet port. If anyone can explain the need for wifi0 please explain it because I have it with my hostap drivers and realtek drivers and never use it for anything.

Both wifi0 and ath0 seem to be experiencing the heaviest traffic. I'll set it to ath0.
