    Hi,

I've just messed up the MBR on my hard disk and I want to create a LILO boot floppy. I only have access to a Windows machine and want to create a floppy disk that will load LILO when I switch the computer on.

    Thanks very much,

    Froskoy

Is your computer using either GRUB or LILO?

I'm not sure how your system is setup, but if I damaged my system, like my MBR, I would simply boot with the latest version of the SystemRescueCD from the CD drive, and then go about fixing my computer's MBR. However, if for some reason you have to be able to boot Linux from a floppy disk, there are Linux distros that are designed to be boot from a floppy disk.

tomsrtbt is one option and it uses lilo which you could edit for your configuration.
tinylinux is another option to look at.

    Good Luck..
