    Creating Linux partitions for install on Lenovo

    I'm trying to create some Linux partitions to install Slackware on my Lenovo W510 notebook and I'm getting some partition "errors" when using fdisk or cfdisk during the Slackware install. I have a feeling this is due to the hidden system restore partition and was wondering how others have dealt with this.

    Hi,
    tough to say anything with this little info.
    I'd try gparted (google it) it's bootable cd dedicated to partition hdd. You can take also screenshot and post, which would help us to help u :)

    Apparently gparted is a more powerful partitioning software than fdisk or cfdisk... worked like a charm! Thanks!
