    Driverloader does the same thing as ndiswrapper, except that it costs money. There's not a lot of reason to use it over what comes with most Linux distros.

    Hey I didnt know so...

    I have just been reading alot about problems with this and I thought it would help... anyways

    I just decided to buy a Hitachi 5K250 and reinstal vista... guess what... same error... I guess its the recovery discs... and guess what... 7th of Feb is my warranty deadline... hooray...

    That why I installed linux 1-2 weeks ago...
