    Happy Monday morning everybody,

Defo not a biggy, but one of the things I've noticed lately is that no matter how many times I try to install/uninstall with either Automatix2 or Synaptic, Debian Menu/menu-xdg is nowhere to be found under Applications->Accessories...or any other menu for that matter. The icon isn't even there anymore.

Another odd issue is that when I right click on Applications to edit the menu layout, I can't check/uncheck any of the boxes or add new items.

    I've tried:

    sudo update-menus

and restarted X, but I get no love at all.

Any ideas other than a fresh install? I've already done that 5 times or so in the last week alone trying to get everything set up thanks to nvidia drivers and Beryl not wanting to play nice w/ each other, so I'd like to avoid that option if at all possible.

    Thanks!

    HH ;)

the permissions might be borked, but I'm not sure what files you would have to chmod to get it working right.
