Hey guys, got quite an issue here!

So I installed Androidx86 on my netbook just fine, but now cannot get Windows 7 to boot. When I Installed Androidx86, it also installed Grub (bootloader) and made a boot item for my windows 7 install. While android works fine, windows will not start. Here is what happens:
I select windows from grub, immediately I get windows is loading files, then startup repair runs, says it cannot fix the issue, and I get the following error message

Problem Event Name: Startup Repair Offline
    Problem Sig 01: 6.1.7600.16385
    02: same as 01
    03: unknown
    04: -1
    05: ExternalMedia
    06: 19
    07: Corrupt Registry

I tried running my windows 7 cd from an external drive, but it also cannot fix the issue. Startup repair will run in that instance, but finds no errors. Additionally, I try system restore, but it says the something needs to be enabled on the drive for it to work, I think this is due the the fact I turned off system restore on my drive to save hard drive space. Only have a 32gb SSD in there.

I also tried fixing MBR, googled a few things that are supposed to fix the registry, and those did not work.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas!

How was your hard drive partitioned when you installed Androidx86?

I followed the install guide that said "Android-x86 can co-exist with other operating system or data in the chosen partition. If the partition is formatted, you may choose 'Do not format' to keep existing data."

The main Windows 7 is on my D: and so is android, chose same partition and do not format.

I was just about to ask what this thread does in the Linux forum since it's obviously a Windows problem. ;)

    @theneighborrkid:
Please show us the contents of the file:
    Code:
    /boot/grub/grub.conf
and the output of the command:
    Code:
    fdisk -l
Additionally where was Windows installed? You said something about "D:", so I assume that's a partition on the secondary SSD. Was it a primary or a logical partition?
more precisely: How did your partition layout look like before you installed Android?

Hey there thanks for the help, I just wiped the drive and re-installed windows. I may put android back on it, so this issue may come up again.

So the primary SSD is C: which is 4GB, I removed the old SSD and put in a 32GB SSD which is my D:. I installed andriod on the 32GB SSD on the D: as the androidx86 installer says this is okay to do as long as I do not format the SSD upon install.

Thank you for your feedback and I may try to install this again so hopefully it goes better a second time around.
