    Hello all again:
Another distro that works on my Asus A8Js, Elive 5.5 Unstable.
Elive unstable is Debian with Enlightenment 6 and 7. I still have to get the latest Nvidia Driver, and the ipw3945 on it. However, those should be easy to get going. Like Mint Linux this includes all of the Video and Audio codecs.

Hey I just downloaded Elive to and I even have the wireless running natively. I love the graphical interface but it had a few features that I found rather infuriating. Like the right and left click buttons do not work like they should. Navigating my way around the distro was also very difficult do to the fact that nothing is labeled, its all just buttons and you have to guess what they mean. Otherwise it seemed like a very nice OS, with the nicest desktop I have ever seen in a Linux Distro.

Yeah the desktop is Enlightement 17. There is a configuration panel for setting up the right and left mouse controls.

I eventually switched to E16 which is a little easier to navigate. I am running Ubuntu again, its the old reliable. I go out and test other distros but always seem to come back to Ubuntu for its clean cut look and overall hardware support.
