    Hey everyone,
So I was following the directions on this site here: Dual-boot Linux Mint 11 and Windows 7

And I got as far as the actual installation of Linux where it is installing while I am entering my information (location, name, comp. name, etc...) And it just comes up with an error message saying that it failed to install because of a corrupt file. Any idea how to fix that? I will try burning a new DVD later but I pretty busy now and wanted to see what you guys think.

Also, I have already partitioned my drive. How would I reverse that? Data on the non-windows partitions is unneeded and can be deleted.

you can create a usb drive with unetbootin

    or a new cd...

just check the disk for errors before you install

Alright I think I will try that. And as far as fixing my partitions, apparently I just use my hard disk manager and there is a handy option in the right-clicking menu that says "Delete Partition" and then all I do is "Extend Volume" of my C: drive and everything is back to normal!

You might also want to generate an md5 hash from your downloaded image and verify it against the one on the Linux Mint website to make sure the download wasn't corrupted during transport.
