Finally i managed to get the Ubuntu back on track after the "crash and burn"
since i just bought a external hard drive, i was thinking of using it to boot ubuntu and use "full" potential of it as a hard drive. Okay i am done with the installation of the ubuntu. However i am getting errors every time i want to boot. For example, error 17 and 21. I really want to solve thost errors. i tried the google but too confusing. i would apreciate the all the help. :)
P.S:i would also like a guide for TOTAL instation of ubuntu to booting for 7.10 (all i found is usually the old ones like 6.10) :(

When the installer asked you where to install the bootloader, what have you chosen?

Take a look here, especially at the "GRUB resources" part.
