Does anyone know if the new release of Fedora 16 works with the AMD Fusion APU? When i try to boot the Ubuntu 11.10 Live-CD i get a black screen. So im wondering if they added compatibility to the new linux kernel for the AMD Fusion APU's.

Yeah, from what I have read it should work. Maybe reload the .iso or download it again if the .iso is corrupt?

Just tried to run it from a flash drive and no luck, same issue as Ubuntu 11.10, boots up fine but screen turns black. I can hear the boot-up sound but no luck.

check the MD5 hash, sounds like your .iso didn't down load right and may be corrupted. i have had corruption problems in the past, wouldn't install, had to download it 3 or so times.
