Has anyone gotten Fedora 8 to work with the 4965AGN card?
If so, could you please say how you did it?

    thanks

Let me guess, it goes to an infinite loop trying to find the IP address? OpenSUSE works just fine if you fancy the lizard.

Wish I could help. I don't use Fedora, so I don't know what they do with their wireless. Can you do an iwlist with the card? How does it try to get an IP address before connecting to a wireless network, because that's pretty much physically impossible?

Fedora 8 is having lots of problems with wireless. I couldnt even get it to work with the dlink wireless card on my desktop. I tried to get it to connect to my homenetwork. Put in the right SSId and WPA key, but it kept asking fort he key again and again even though i was typing in the right key and using the right encryption.

One thing you can try is to start the Network Manager Service.

Go to System -> Administrator -> Services -> now check the box next to Network Manager and the other Network device thingy (forgot the name).
