    Hi,

I previously had a Windows partition occupying virtually all of my hard disk (2 hard drives configured in RAID0). This was 85% full of data.

I wanted to also install Fedora and dual boot. I went through the Fedora installation process, but when I got to the stage of resizing the Windows partition, the process crashed half way through and the computer restarted.

Now booting into Windows doesn't work.

Fortunately, before I started the installation process, I created a disk image backup and Windows 7 recovery disc. I'm now unsure as to what my next step should be.

Should I insert the Windows 7 recovery disc and just try and get everything working...

    or

Format the disks using an appropriate boot disk, create an NTFS partition and ext 4 partition, then insert the Windows 7 recovery disc and get it working in the NTFS partition, then install Fedora in the ext 4 partition?

    With very many thanks,

    Froskoy.

Try the recovery disk first, usually it works. If it does not work, you try the other approach.
