Aye, ogg video files can be found on some sites. I've found its great for internet video, very well compressed.

They're video files. You can have video .ogg files as well as audio, and the desktop video software I have encodes in .ogg only.
Then where can I host them? That's what I'm trying to figure out. They are quite well compressed for good quality (35MB for a 3 min 1440x900 video @24fps), but if I can't host them, then it doesn't do much good.

Well, if you guys are telling me .ogg is a video format as well, it certainly must be a container format. That means that it's going to be harder to upload to video hosting sites, especially if your video/audio is under an esoteric codec.

Yeah, a quick Google search yields almost zero results. And some services you have to pay for.

Ogg is a container. Vorbis is the audio codec, Theora is a high-compression video codec.
They all come out of the Xiph.org group. They also do a special speech-only codec called speex and every audiophile's favourite, FLAC. -
