When I'm browsing he certain web sites like Fat Wallet or the New York Times, the default text color is a light blue which makes it very difficult to read. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for any help.

There is a way to set the default color globally but I don't think it's possible for a specific website

How about you hi-light the text and read it? That's one possibility of getting rid of the light blue text.

I mean: Tools --> Options --> Content --> Colors --> Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above

Thanks for the replies so far. I tried the Allow Pages... thing, but since I am using a black theme, it makes all my backgrounds black which I don't like either. What I was hoping was for a way to force the text to be black.

I don't understand...if you uncheck the "Allow pages...." then you can force both background and font colors in Tools --> Options --> Content --> Colors (e.g. black fonts on white background)

Thanks for the help. For the theme I was using, it defaulted to a black background. I played around with some other themes until I found one I liked better.

That's what I often do, just a good old select all does the trick.
