I got the flash to work, but the interface is kinda messed. When i press pause it does nothing when i press play after it finished playing it does nothing. the maximixe screen doesn't work, and my volume and maximize/minimize screen after all messhed together. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue.

Also, what Flash package have you installed? flashplugin-nonfree? gnash? -
It's a known issue - wait for an update. If it's urgent, follow the instructions here.

I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to reply faster, it's been hectic over here with new years and all, half the events I don't even remember but fun times lol.

This is a known bug that seems to pop up once in a while. I had it once and rolled back to an older driver, now I'm on the very latest version and am okay. See if you can update yours, or roll it back if push comes to shove.

I'm new to Linux and Firefox so I wouldn't know what you mean by that.
-
I suggest you the following:
1- Open the Synaptic Package Manager (System --> Administration --> Synaptic)
2- Search for the package gnash and remove it.
3- Search for the package flashplugin-nonfree and install it. -
Ok i'll try that, but somehow i can't seam to get the wireless working but I'll take my laptop to the library and see how to works out their.
-
I did that now it gives me the same message to install but when I try it says nonfree already installed. So should i just stick with gnash for a while until they come with an update and fix this issue?
-
Bump. Has this been resolved yet?

Try installing the following package: http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=53648&stc=1&d=1198033466
(have you removed gnash?) -
I believe you are using the 64bit verison of ubuntu that come with a 64bit firefox.
I installed the 32 bit firefox and the 32bit flash and it works fine for me
read this for more detail

The latest warning from the tech industry disclosed that Flash is vulnerable to exploitation. If your website has flash files, you have to remove them and upgrade your Flash software and redo your work. Hackers were able to launch several website exploitation by using flash files as their platform to steal data from websites.

Sampunk-how can i tell if i'm using a 32bit system or 64, i instaled the i386 or something like that so it can work on my intel dual core.
John B-I tired removing gnash but when I did nothing was working so I reinstalled it, rather than not haveing it not working.
I'll try those steps John B. -
What if you try uninstall both, and then try one or the other.
