Just wondering if anyones had experience with a Fujitsu and Linux. I'd like to have a dual boot, as long as it doesnt slow down the system. if it does, then no dual boot.
I use it mostly for recording and editing with Cubase SX3. The only other stuff i do is internet, email, that sort of thing.
Regards,
Nick

it is more of an issue of setting/finding drivers then machine types.
http://tuxmobil.org/centrino.html offers a good guide as how to handle intel processors under linux

Kanotix runs great on my older fujitsu N5010. Heck, it was running great a year ago! I bet yours will be fine. The only thing that might be a problem is bluetooth, if you have it. I don't have it and so I know nothing about bluetooth and linux, hence my statement that it may be a problem.
