Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to open multiple .ps files (over 1000) as layers in GIMP and not have to click on the prompt each time (just have it use the same attributes as the base picture)? Thanks!

Over 1000 .ps files? Are you trying to crash your machine or something? What are you trying to do? Loading that all up simultaneously will kill your system.

I have done so with over 150 already without much of a problem...its just tedious to click 'import' thousands of times (I do many runs :p). Its just for a research project, I am making .gifs of galactic systems and I wanted to increase resolution, so I am making the timesteps between snapshots smaller and increasing the runtime. If you can't do the above in GIMP is there an alternate converter from .ps to .gif? Thanks!

edit: I believe I have an 5 GB swap for following the 1.5xRAM rule of thumb (just for situations like this :)). Is this enough.
