This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     yes yes yes i know.
    im lazy and the forums were already up =[
    but i cant seem to find teh brushes option in gimp
    not brushes that wasnt the hard part
    and how do i add new brushes?

    load your brushes in the ./brushes directory under the ./gimp at least I think that is where they go. They are hidden user directories.

    Gimp and Inkscape is a powerful combination. Great two programs for sure.

    Inkscape is a vector editing program, something like Adobe Illustrator.

    You can make things like this or this with Inkscape (just little things I've done to play with it), with the benefit of them being based on SVG, a vector graphics format which means they're infinitely scalable images.
