    Grub error

    So I uninstalled Ubuntu and created a new partition to hopefully install Win7 beta on, but now when I try to boot I just get GRUB error 17.

    help is appreciated!

    If you are dual booting with Vista I think you can use the Vista DVD to repair the MBR. Just boot with it in the drive and choose repair system I believe.

    These commands might help when you're in the Vista command line repair interface: fixmbr and fixboot. I believe either the /? switch or the help command will give you more information.
