This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HDMI out in Ubuntu

    Hey I am trying to use the HDMI out on my XPS 1530 to my TV. I unplugged the HDMI cable from my satellite box and plugged it into my XPS 1530 and set the tv to HDMI input, but my TV says no signal...any idea how to get it to work?

    By the way, I am running Ubuntu 7.10
