First step is to read this. Next step is to state your problem more clearly. You're unable to download limewire? When you download it, you can't find it? You are trying to install it from source? What version of Linux are you using? All important questions.

Pita is right; this question/thread is very vague and needs to be cleaned up.

However, if you are using Ubuntu, then you should look for Frostwire in the repositories. It's Limewire backend modified for Linux, and installs effortlessly via the repos.

Indeed you are. I suggest that if you are going to learn how to use Linux, you use Google or some other resources to find the meanings of very common terms. Repositories is a very common term in the Linux world, and it is the source of all your software. It downloads applications and other things from remote servers. Just click Applications>Add/Remove Software and search for Frostwire.

Limewire has issues loading Java because Ubuntu installs it in a non-standard location (as it unfortunately does for many things). Therefore, Limewire can't load the Java libraries correctly.

Install Frostwire. Done, end of story.
