    Help needed trying to install Ubuntu on Dell Mini 9 with USB stick

    Title says it.

    I am quite frustrated. I cannot boot up the Ubuntu on the USB stick, to start the partition software to get rid of XP.

    Make sure you appropriately resize the partition and format the stick every single time before you create the bootable usb with unetbootin.

    For example, with my asus eeepc I have to shrink the partition to about 700mb and then format it to fat16 before I even think about firing up unetbootin.
