So I am running Mint 16.

I have downloaded a few KDM login themes from kde-look.org. However even after authenticating and trying to install a new theme, I keep getting the error that the file is not a valid tar.gz file. Yes it is. I downloaded it.

I also tried unpacking the file and looking around for the theme file inside, but no luck.

    Any ideas?
