Hi, I'm running Linux Mint 14 KDE on HP4530s and common temperature during browsing is about 50deg C which seems to me a bit higher. Furthermore, if I suspend PC and then resume it, temperature is about 80deg C despite the fact, that I have only browser and skype turned on. I can hear, that fan is running. Can anybody help me, what can cause it?

Welcome to the Forum, I would try suspending with Skype closed, or browser closed to help narrow down the issue. Have you tried hibernate instead of suspend? I have avoided suspend on my ancient Dell D610 with Ubuntu 12.04 for the reasons stated here: A Guide to the Hibernate and Suspend Commands for Linux Laptops
Just curious are you using Psensor to monitor Temps? -

Are you on AC or battery power?
Take a look at your cpu usage before and after resume.
On battery power, take a look at powertop.
High temperature after resume from suspend
