(Edit: For anyone not familiar with Debian GNU/Linux, Iceweasel is the Debian "rebranding" of the Firefox browser.)
Just catching up on el'reg, found this to be quite funneh (scroll down a bit...):

Sweet, wait 'till my friend hears of this, her nickname is Iceweasel. I like the art work. The ability to change icons is among the 101 reasons why I'm switching to linux.

I was still half awake when I posted this, but I guess u may need some context for it to be funny:

I am using Debian and using Iceweasel right now, so I know the whole story behind its re-branding. I like the icon, it is funny. It looks like the Earth is wearing a mink coat
So is this icon supposed to be the default one in Squeeze? -
I like the icon actually, it looks glossy.

Correct spelling is good, but Internet slang has it's place. The distinction we must make is between the ignorant, incompetent and imbecilic specimens (since I'm on a roll with the 'I' words here), and the half-humorous, half-serious (after all, it is the Internet) spirit that underlies 1337, slang, memes, and the rest.
And then we can go on to subjugate and differentiate between the nauseating "omg r u going 2 the prty 2nite? u no mike b thare hes SOO cut<3" of society's barely teenaged girls, and the semi-ironic humor of the "LOL that's why MS is t3h lame" of the learned geek.
But clearly, the uses of correct grammar and syntax in technical and intellectual applications goes without saying. And it is in such applications that a spelling error or structural blunder becomes a glaring blemish (and NBR posts of a factual nature do, to an extent, fall within these realms). However, even in this category, the student of aesthetics may further distinguish between errors of various causes, poise and style as a whole, and intentional or otherwise stylistic deviations of conventional composition.
In summary, some mistakes are acceptable, unoffensive, or humorous. Some incorrect spellings and improper grammar can be likewise; they may also be stylistic. Quite appropriate, really.
But then there are those painfully obvious manifestations of carelessness, ignorance, or semi-subconscious, willful submersion in the giddy, sensational, mindless and overwrought teen drama of texting and IM flirtations.
Do I need to go to bed? Yes ... I think so. But the long-winded rant was fun.
Good night,
