    Hm... that's an interesting idea. How much room would just the OS take on a jump drive?

    I believe only fedora core 9 is capable of running a fully developped OS as Fedora core 9.


    Ubuntu is just the files from the live cd on a usb drive (lame)

    Fedora actually is the complete OS, you can save files, photos, blah blah blah and start it on any machine with those same exact saved files.

    Very intuitive technology.

    Pop in live cd , plug the usb drive and launch the install and select the flash drive as the drive on which you want to install and you're set.

    Ubuntu 8.10 is making that a new feature so if you want it to be officially supported then you could wait until it comes out in September. It's probably no different though.
