This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     How can you reach Wi-Fi internet

    while using a Windows 7 laptop that won't boot and that is now running from an Ubuntu 12.04.2 USB stick? I did activate the driver. At one point I get the message that networks are available and to go the the "network menu" to connect but I get to an icon '"Window network" and click on it but...it doesn't work. I get error message":Unable to mount location. Failed to retrieve list from server."
    Edit: I now did get the answer how to reach Wi-Fi Internet. Thanks!
