Hello guys,
How do you install anti-virus software onto a notebook as there is no CD drive? I really need anti-virus for my notebook laptop , but I cannot find the solution for it? And what software is the best? Please give me any suggestion.
Thanks and Regards

Tony welcome to the forum, every antivirus program I have seen can be downloaded from the web and installed from whatever media you download to. If you already have an AV program on CD try copying the CD from another computer to a USB drive and run it from USB on the aforemantioned machine. If you want a AV for Linux you choices are limited The 4 Best Free Linux Anti-Virus Programs

You may also consider buying an external CD drive. I found one for about $30 and leave it in a drawer; on the rare occasions when I need it, I just dig it out and plug it in!

Hi !Try to get the anti virus installer from the cd to a pen drive from any other computer or laptop in your household or your friend etc. and then install it to your notebook. This will solve your problem. But copy each and every file from the cd to the pen drive so that installation problems should not arise later.
