Is there a way to import the IE7's RSS feeds over to Ubuntu?

    I've dumped Vista ;)

You should be able to go to the sites you get the RSS feeds from and add them... I don't know about an automatic importing, though, especially since you're using Linux. You may be able to do so if you install Firefox under Windows, import the IE feeds that way (if that even works), then export the bookmarks from Windows Firefox and import them to the Linux Firefox. Or use an Add-In like Foxmarks, which is what I do.
