    I got an E1505 will it run beryl or compiz?

    It has a Nvidia 7300.

    Should work no worries--it ran on my e1505 nicely with the x1400 and ran on my roommate's tablet with the GMA950.

    Just install the nVidia drivers and use the AIGLX method of running Beryl. wiki.ubuntu.com should help you.
