Hi,
I would like to install grub2, but I dont want to have to download a linux distro (would be a waste of bandwidth and time).
Is there any way to do it?
BTW I currently use win xp if it makes a difference.

So you want to use GRUB to boot XP? I'm not sure I follow that logic. I can see it if you dual boot linux and XP.. Maybe I'm not understanding correctly..

I'd imagine a quick jaunt over to one of the linux forums could answer this question. I'm not going to be the one to ask though, I don't want to read through 4 pages of "Why would you do that, Windows sucks!" posts to get to the answer. -

Thanks for the replies, but since I made this thread I've decided it's worth having linux installed. I will download the distro and install it.
