    Hi,

I would like to install grub2, but I dont want to have to download a linux distro (would be a waste of bandwidth and time).

Is there any way to do it?

BTW I currently use win xp if it makes a difference.

    Thanks :)

So you want to use GRUB to boot XP? I'm not sure I follow that logic. I can see it if you dual boot linux and XP.. Maybe I'm not understanding correctly..

Presumably this is to add grub2 bootloader overclocking. I've asked Uncle Joe about this to which he has replied:

I am waiting for more information..

Very interesting stuff, nando, thanks for sharing that.

I'd imagine a quick jaunt over to one of the linux forums could answer this question. I'm not going to be the one to ask though, I don't want to read through 4 pages of "Why would you do that, Windows sucks!" posts to get to the answer. :)

Thanks for the replies, but since I made this thread I've decided it's worth having linux installed. I will download the distro and install it.
