Just wondering if it's possible, using this thread TM, I've made half of my 1GB TMM into a readable/writeable flash drive. Now I want to install (probably Arch or a server distribution) onto that half of it, problem is that I can't see the "drive" from Linux. Any ideas on how I could be able to find it?

So you can't see the memory from a LiveCD? That is a pretty good idea, but unfortunately Intel designed Robson memory to work with Vista's Readyboost technology; in other words, I don't think Linux has any support for Turbo memory.
I refer to these threads:

That's right, I can't view the drive from the liveCD. I don't care about whether I can use it for readyboost, what I want to do is treat it like another hard drive. You know, plug in drive, see it in Linux, install. Other people have reported that they are able to see the drive in Linux, for some reason I can't.

I'd recommend that you take a look at those links I posted earlier. According to several sources, Robson memory is not supported by the Linux kernel.

I did look at them, I guess there's nothing that can be done then.
Links I found that said something was possible:

Maybe this with adaptation? http://hedera.linuxnews.pl/_news/2002/09/03/_long/1445.html -
Wrt the thread in the Slackware forum; the OP was pondering ways Slack could use Robson. I couldn't find any post discussing whether he actually tried it out.

My mistake, late in the thread he says that what he thought was TM was actually a USB stick he forgot to take out of his hub....
Install distro on Turbo Memory?
