hey, I have a problem where my ASUS m50vm-b1 doesnt want to install UBUNTU. It either stops when trying to partition the hard drive or installing language packs. I am trying to dual boot with my current OS, VISTA 64bit

A little more info would be nice. Is it giving you an error message? How are you setting up your partitions and have you already created the unallocated space, or are you using or are you using the UBUNTU disk to shrink your vista partition? The shrinking can take a while.

I am using UBUNTU but am not that good with it, but the others here should have some ideas if you give them enough info.

    Welcome to the forum.
