    http://www.kde.org/info/4.0.php

"The KDE Community is thrilled to announce the immediate availability of KDE 4.0. This significant release marks both the end of the long and intensive development cycle leading up to KDE 4.0 and the beginning of the KDE 4 era." KDE 4.0 is the first release of "KDE 4", but take note that the developers have clearly stated that KDE 4.0 is not KDE 4, but more of a base release with all the underlying systems ready to go, but with still a lot of work to be done on the user-visible side.

The impressions article was actually funny :p. (And informative). I want to make the move to KDE 4 pretty quick, if possible. But from the looks of it, I guess I'll have to wait longer =|.

Nothing, really. I think it's been at 2.20 for the past four months. Wiki says new one's out in March (2.2).

Is it out already? How comes I haven't even heard of it...Thought it was still in beta...Although from the sound of it, it still is. Oh well, premises sound good, it just need time to mature before coming to my desktop.

Fedora with KDE. Looks interesting. I still haven't completely switched, although I'm tempted to do so every so often. I think I'll buy a bigger drive and do it. Probably dual boot with x64 Vista and some Linux distro - hopefully (K)ubuntu.
