This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anybody else having problems with Kubuntu 11.10 and the Nvidia drivers on a Sager? Mine appears to lock up if any version of the Nvidia drivers is installed.

    Are you using swithcheroo or bumblebee?
    Run an lspci - do you have optimus or just a dicrete card?
    Do you have a mux or the NVIdia is connected directly to Sandy Bridge?
