Kind of an odd question for you Linux experts here... I was wondering if any Linux distros offer tablet support. I don't remember ever seeing any, but I can't be sure...

A tablet basically replaces the mouse with a stylus input. So, anything you can do with your mouse, you can do with a tablet PC.

That said, there aren't many tablet-centric applications for Linux, handwriting recognition, etc. So you may end up working a bit to get note taking and the like going on a tablet PC. But the system itself will work perfectly well on a tablet.

Yep, I think Gautam runs linux on a tablet, you could ask him for more info.

My roommate also runs various distros on his Toshiba tablet with no issues.

I posted a monster 7 page guide last year on how to run Ubuntu Linux on a Tablet PC, the way I do. Take a look, it's at out sister site TPCR.
