Are there Linux drivers for:
GeForce 8600M GS
GeForce 8600M GT
GeForce 8800M GTS
GeForce 8800M GTX

Isn't it the nvidia-new-glx package?

Not that I can tell. Do you have a link to any documentation that states support for these mobile GPUs?
The only mobile 8 series GPU I found support for on the NVIDIA Linuix drivers page is the 8700 GT. -
I can say from experience that the 8600M GT works fine (I have a Dell 1520 with one). As far as I can tell, there are no seperate mobile drivers.

Yes they are recognized! I have 8600M GS and it's recognized! What distro are you using?

OK, here's some links I found. It looks like they're all supported.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html
So my guess is that their latest Linux driver covers all of the ones I listed.
It's just stupid how NVIDIA doesn't have any of them available on the main driver finder and download page here.
