This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     System requirements:

    • 1GB RAM (2GB recommended for a comfortable usage).
    • 15GB of disk space (20GB recommended).
    • 1024×768 resolution (on lower resolutions, press ALT to drag windows with the mouse if they don’t fit in the screen).
    Notes:

    • The 64-bit ISO can boot with BIOS or UEFI.
    • The 32-bit ISO can only boot with BIOS.
    • The 64-bit ISO is recommended for all modern computers (Almost all computers sold since 2007 are equipped with 64-bit processors).

    The entire upgrade process took about 12 minutes on the mighty-mini. But, it took about 60% to run the Timeshift backup program. The upgrade itself was around 5 minutes. Easy Peasy!

    Mint 19.1 uses both Gnome and xfce 4.12 DEs. For general UI like taskbar and desktop they use XFCE and for HiDPI aware apps like editors,web browsers etc.. they're using GNOME 3.28.x or 3.30.
