    Hi

I want to install openSuse on my external HDD. Should I use the LiveUSB option or the full OpenSuse version?

    Advantage/disadvantages of both?

    Thanks!

If you want to really use it install the regular version to your external disk.

yup the regular version can be burned to a cd or use a bootable usb..
I've had all the linux distros i've tried on my external HD and never had a problem. right now its peppermintos..
The install process is pretty similiar to how you would put it on an internal HD...just pop in that installation cd or usb..when you get to the part where it lets you choose where to put your distro just pick your external from the drop down list, easy process :) have fun with opensuse!
