Hey all, what do you think works best for a E1505? Using a USB drive maybe or just in general? Gentoo? Unbuntu?

I have the X1400 ATI card in here. Just wanted some updated feedback. I try to keep up once and awhile... but always so many distros.. I cant even guess whats ideal or not to stick with and try as a beginner. >.<

I've had great success with Sabayon on my Inspiron 6400 w/X1400.
