    i'm new here & i want to know where can i get good tutorial on linux.

    I want to learn linux quickly.

    This is where I started. Short of reading everything you can find and downloading the iso, installing a distro and taking things from there, I don't know of a quick way to learn Linux (or any other system). Maybe others have different ideas. In any case, good luck, and enjoy yourself.

    its different. it is open source, its not windows. :)

    try ubuntu, very user friendly and easy to use.

    It's free, different, fun to learn - usually, doesn't require anywhere near the safety precautions needed with Windows, and it's free (lol).

    everything about it is different, THAT IS the reason you would use it, because you are sick of the norm. why get a new car, why cheat on your wife, why eat different foods, because you want something different. :D
