Hi. I am interested in linux, so i tried to install it in my Acer Ferrari 4005. I read in some forums that suse could recognize almost all the hardware, so i tried with SuSe 10. In fact it did, but after installing, i cant load gnome. I get a black screen.

In other forums i got this tip: "add this lines to the xorg.conf file:
    Option "CRT2Position" "clone"
    Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,CRT"

I dont know what that really means because i am a newbie, but i tried it. My X can load, but i only get a blue screen. Nothing else. Has anybody had this same problem with SuSE? I would like some help please. Thanks a lot.

P.D. by the way english is not my nativew language so i still have some mistakes.
