This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am going to wait for the xfce CE and give it a shot on my netbook. Getting tired of xubuntu.

    Doesn't play nice with the nVidia MCP79 sound just like Ubuntu 9.10 that its based off of... *sigh*

    Hrm.. What's up with the file names, no x86 or x64? I'm guessing from that, that only x86 was released? Their website is obviously getting slammed right now, hard to get the details.

    Edit - Yep, x86 only. x64 hasn't been released yet.

    right on time to slap on this old Sony Laptop for the ex....don't wanna fuss around with codecs, etc.....install it, and hit the road Jack....this is where Mint shines..... :p :D

    Nice, I've heard it looks pretty snazzy.. Waiting for the x64, though since I"m going to VM it I guess it doesn't really matter, still be slow as all heck.
